MenuEverywhere makes the menu bar's menu accessible from any window on any screen. If you've got a large monitor or a dual or multi-monitor setup, then MenuEverywhere will eliminate the frustration of having to reach out for the menubar and losing focus on your work.
Access menu bar menus in the following ways:
- Screen-top menu bar on (non-primary) secondary screens that mimics the actual Apple menu bar
- Window-attached menu bar
- Window-attached menu button
- Hotkey or mouse button pops-up menu at mouse location

I loved this app and used it constantly, but…alas…it appears to no longer work with macOS Sierra (10.12). Looking for alternatives.

stay away, its buggy and you can't send a crash log to the dev. Started getting suggestd crashes. looking for another similar tool.

I have been using this through a number of OS iterations. From 10.6 up to 10.9.5, MenuEverywhere just works well.

Doesn't work with Mavericks as you cannot "Turn on Assistive Devices" with the Mavericks Preference Pane.

After an exhaustive process of trial and elimination, I'm fairly certain MenuEverywhere is the cause of my dominant grief under 10.9 - I kept getting major and frequent system slow downs involving a process called com.apple.iconServicesMonitor and the only way to get my MacBook Pro back to normal was to kill that process. That process is supposed to pop up every now and then, do its thing and then vanish, but it seems MenuEverywhere keeps repeatedly forcing it into the open once it appears on its own. MenuEverywhere has problems anyway, it hasn't been updated in a year and it's likely abandonware at this point.
